Sunday Showcase: Carl Wooley
Sunday Showcase shows a collection of work from one photographer- from a startup to an established shooter- each Sunday. Ideally, it will be a nice place to visit, with coffee in hand on Sunday mornings, possibly as you nurse a hangover.
This week showcases work from Carl Wooley.
What a diverse set of work! The first images seem almost hyper-real as if they are some of Thomas Demands paper cut-outs.
I love your images.. I could spend a lot of time looking and thinking.. the word that comes to mind in some of the photographs is loneliness, but I’ve come to find that that quality makes very aesthetically pleasing images.
my favorite of the bunch is the winding road… it’s as if the earth is enveloping the road, with the background of clouds, beautiful!

Gorgeous images. I like the cleanness of light and shadows. The lone car outside building with light from window and landscape compliment each other in hues but contrast each other by nature vs. man made.
